This is a lovely pair of earrings made by an Afghan silversmith. They were made in the second half of the twentieth century and feature an inverted tear-shaped middle with tiny turquoise glass insets. Three sets of double dangles hang from the bottom. 

Please note that the ear wires are thicker than Western standard ear wires.
